The light of life
50/60, the oil on canvas
Sometimes, in spite of everything, the light of hope shines up in the soul, cleansing and carefree. Like a tree with bizarre branches, this hot light of life stretches upwards. So the little blue bird flew in to bask, brought happiness on its wings..
I live in St. Petersburg. I work in the Hermitage museum and paint pictures in which I try to create a special world of harmony and poetry, filled with symbols and references to the spiritual images of traditional art and myths.
