Every person experiences internal crises during their life. It is very important to learn to get out of the crisis with new qualities. The painting "From Darkness to Light" illustrates the evolution of one's personality during an internal crisis, depicting a transition from darkness and gloom to light and a new beginning.

Elena Masterkova was born in Moscow.
She graduated from the St. Tikhon Theological Institute with a degree in muralist.
In 2007 she was admitted to the Moscow Union of Artists.
In 2000 - 2020 she worked as an independent mosaicist on author's projects.
In 2017 she created the author's textile project "Unicornarte".
She participated in the mosaic design of the St. Sava Church in Belgrade.
